The Prescription for a Perfect Marriage
-
The bride’s request, “I want an elegant Florida Gators themed wedding!” The answer “It would be our pleasure!” In the midst of wedding planning, the couple discovered that they were expecting a little bundle of joy. This could have been a stressful time for anyone, but with perfectionists on their team, wedding planning was a breeze. Shades of peach and baby blue captured the Gators energy, while preserving the sophistication of this springtime celebration. An exclusive yacht club provided the perfect backdrop for these university sweethearts to unite in marriage. In lieu of the traditional guestbook, attendees were asked to write a prescription for the perfect marriage. The pill bottles were filled with orange and blue M&Ms. After indulging in the sweet treats, the bottles were filled with their written prescriptions and submitted to the “Gator Pharm” for processing. This was an awesome way to pay tribute to the groom, who was a pharmacist by trade. While the guests boogied on the dance floor during the reception, they were given gator koozies and sunglasses. And of course, the groom’s cake was a gator, ready to chump down on a Seminole. At the end of the evening, guests parted with a Gator shaped cookie, to remember the sweet time that had with Mr. & Mrs. Barry!

When interior designer Sarah, met Brandon a quirky architect, it was truly a match made in artistic heaven. For their nuptials, Sarah paired up with a local textile company to create a custom fabric. The cloth was adorned with the couple’s favorite colors and little symbols which represented special moments from their seven year courtship! This material was used to make custom bow ties for the groomsmen and stylish sashes for the bridesmaid’s J. Crew dresses. On the wedding day, they skipped the traditional bride unveiling at the aisle and opted for a first look picnic. Yes, the couple met on a lush lawn adjacent to the venue and was photographed as they enjoyed decadent desserts and sparkling wine on a traditional red and white picnic blanket. This couple truly desired a wedding that reflected their personality and the décor remained true to their style! They ditched the traditional wedding flowers, for tall centerpieces which featured large monstera leaves and romantic floating candles! Sarah used her passion for design and color to breathe life into the event and capture her undying love for Brandon!
Manhattan Meets Palm Beach Island

Ever wondered what a million dollar wedding would be like? Here’s a glance at luxury and sophistication at its best! Bridesmaids received Kate Spade bangles, while the groomsmen beat the Florida heat with limited edition Ray-Bans. The bride’s “Something Borrowed”, a stunning diamond necklace from her mother-in-law. It came along with a hefty price tag and perfectly complimented her Monique Lhuillier gown and crystal encrusted Christian Louboutins. The church ceremony was followed by a glamorous reception fit for royalty. During the cocktail hour, guests were entertained by a magician and their palates were wowed with food options that included a Raw Seafood Bar, Asian Station & Pasta Station. These were not your average food stations, I loved that guests received little Chinese takeout boxes with each visit. The ballroom’s marble floors sparkled as the ceiling twinkled with crystal chandeliers, which were brought in exclusively for this occasion. The royal tables featured tall centerpieces with blush hand-opened roses, ivory hydrangeas & cream orchids. Elegant cues of the couple’s Italian culture were woven into the reception through food, music and dance. Following the four course dinner, a Viennese table was presented in grand style! It featured 26 assorted desserts including frozen hot chocolate, biscotti, cannoli, tiramisu and even apple pie a la mode. No party is complete without a high-energy band to keep guests jamming until the morning. Before leaving, invitees visited the photo booth and left with a custom photo strip favor. It truly was a platinum wedding!
